The tour starts, at the soccer field. Follow the path up to the road: "bygdavegin". Thereafter, follow the road 2-300 meters up to the valley where you will find the gate to the outfield. The path is not easy to see but if you look to the right then you will see the first gairn approxmately 500 meters up in the grasslands. Follow the gairns up towards the top of Skarð where you will find two big gairns. The hike from Breiðaskarð top down to Hellurnar is easy. However, before you approach the spot known as "Hellurnar", at Spreingisbrekka, there is a little steep area before you come to the gate to Hellurnar.
