The tour begins in Hósvík village and is easy to walk. Follow Smørdalsá from Hósvík village up to Hósvíksgjógv. From Hósvíksskarð follow the cairns down to Leynavatn water. It is not recommended to walk the tour during hunting season from november 1st of November to 31st of December.
